Yes, it is called the Aphidromia, a family festival 5-10 days after birth which a newly born child was introduced into the family, and receives its name. The home is cleaned/cleansed, the mother ritually baths, and the child is presented to Hestia along with sacrifices to Gods who watch over child, Apollo and Artemis for instance. At this time the child is also introduced to the family, friends and any local tradition’s membership who can be asked to make a pledge to be responsible for the spiritual welfare of the new child, and to take an oath to keep the child safe until adulthood.

No, sorry.... just that a basic outline of what would have been done. I had thought about creating a ritual book, but I really dislike the cookbooks you find some other religions putting out. This is a family practice, and should reflect your family. You have the basic idea of what was performed... make use of the basic ritual outline for any sacrifices... and add to that games and contests to the celebration. I tell people about these types of events to think of a family BBQ celebrating the Forth of July or a graduation just with added religious elements. It really should be a celebration in every sense of the word.
